​Gyro Republic, a Sugar Land-based halal street food restaurant, is planning to expand this summer, according to a news release.

​Its two new locations will be at the Waterview Town Center in Richmond at 4808 Waterview Town Center Drive, Ste. 100, and the Pillars at Houston Baptist University campus at 7549 Hwy. 59, Ste. 300.

​Owner and founder Rehan Ranpuri opened the fast-casual restaurant's first location in 2019 at 19920 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land.

​Gyro Republic is also looking to expand to the The Heights, Midtown, Montrose, Westchase and west Houston, according to the release. 832-847-4736.www.gyrorepublic.com
