Grater Grilled Cheese’s goal is simple: Make every single sandwich the best one and take pride in what they make. Using all organic and locally sourced ingredients, Grater Grilled Cheese provides you with comfort knowing you are eating a quality and wholesome sandwich.

Grater Grilled Cheese was inspired by the Greengo Food Truck that hit the roads back in 2011. With the love and support of their family, Gaston Corbala and his wife Natalie Garin were able to turn their culinary passion into a reality. Gaston’s background in culinary originated from his studies at the Culinary Arts School in Tijuana, which ultimately influenced his passion for food. Although he worked in a variety of restaurants in Mexico and Argentina, he realized that he wanted to take his passion to the next level by making it mobile!

Over a course of 3 years, the Greengo Food Truck had gained an immense amount of popularity and exposure that they decided to open their first restaurant in the heart of La Jolla in 2014. As the hype continued, another location was opened two years later in Mission Valley in March of 2016. Come the beginning of 2017, Grater Grilled Cheese will open its third location in the Del Mar Highlands
