About Us
Paw & Order Dog Training was established in 2013 in Pittsburgh by owner Elissa Weimer-Sentner. We are passionate about dog training because we are passionate about dogs! We offer certified dog training programs that are tailored to the individual dog and are successful with all breeds, ages, and temperaments. We offer commitment based in-home training, a board & train program, as well as group classes.
Why Should You Consider Franchising?
Starting your own business is exciting and risky at the same time. According to the US Small Business Administration, 30% of new businesses fail within the first two years; that number jumps to 50% within the first five years. It is highly likely that the failure rate of dog trainers is higher. Why would that be? Very few people have the natural ability or expertise to be efficient at all aspects of running a successful dog training business. That is where our experience comes into play. By franchising with us, you get access to a proven business model that drastically increases your chance of success.
The Franchise Opportunity You've Been Looking For
We are excited to offer dog trainers and/or entrepreneurs across the country the opportunity to run their own Paw & Order franchise. Whether you are a dog trainer struggling to succeed or someone who has always dreamed of running your own business, a Paw & Order franchise might be just what you’ve been looking for.
Why Franchise with Paw & Order?
When Elissa Weimer-Sentner started her business in 2013 (under a different name), she quickly found success in her approach to dog training. She grew very quickly, and in 2016, she changed her company name to Paw & Order. That’s when business really took off. It was at that moment we thought it would be great to give others the opportunity to capitalize on not only our company name, but also our overall business model and approach to dog training.
Easy implementation, low startup costs, and a proven business model makes this an opportunity you don’t want to miss out on!

The dog industry is HUGE. There are approximately 90 million dogs in the US – that’s a lot of dogs that need trained! Because of the growing rate of dogs per household, the demand for dog training is also on the rise.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of animal care and service workers (including dog trainers) is projected to grow 16 percent from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations. Part of this is due to high turnover, since many give up due to a lack of success.
There are many “dog trainers” out there, but many either don’t have the proper skills and/or knowledge to successfully train a dog or, more commonly, they don’t possess the other skills needed to run a successful business. But as a Paw & Order franchise, you’ll be equipped with everything you need to succeed (including a great company name).
Great news! Paw & Order - Dog Training has reached its current goals thanks to high demand. More franchise and business opportunities are coming soon, sign up here for updates and be the first to know! Below are a few other suggestions to start with.
